France: Day 2

Second day finished and we're about to have a great dinner made by our host.
We started early this morning and did a lot of cooking, styling and photographing. Yesterday, as you may have seen in the previous post, the theme of the day was 'A Typical Lunch', and today was all about 'Autumn Picnic'.

I'm not going to share these photos with you now but I will share a bit of the atmosphere going around here.

We had a great lunch today made by Stephanie and Nadia and, despite we didn't have much time for the lunch break, I enjoyed it a lot. Some talk, laugh and a great meal was all that was needed to get some energy for the afternoon.

O segundo dia terminou e estamos prestes a ter um grande jantar feito pela nossa anfitriã.
Começamos cedo de manhã e cozinhamos bastante, fizemos styling e fotografamos. Ontem, como devem ter visto no post anterior, o tema do dia foi 'Um Almoço Típico', e hoje foi tudo sobre 'Picnic de Outono'.

Não vou partilhar essas fotografias concosco agora, mas vou partilhar um pouco da atmosfera por aqui.

Tivemos um fantástico almoço hoje feito pela Stephanie e pela Nadia e, apesar de termos tido muito tempo para almoçar, eu gostei muito. Falamos, rimos e tivems uma óptima refeição que era tudo o que precisavamos para ter um pouco de energia para a tarde.

France : Day 1

Summer, Kids and Friends

Today was the first day of school for my kids, and I spent some time sorting the photos that I took this summer. I got so happy seeing their faces... happy, playing, jumping, having fun..
I know we had a great summer but, seeing these photos, I realised it was more than that.
I was there, with them, enjoying every second of fun they had and that makes me extremely happy and satisfied.

Hoje foi o primeiro dia de escola para os meus filhos, e passei algum tempo a ordenar as fotos que tirei neste verão. Fiquei tão contente a ver as caras deles... felizes, a brincar, a saltar, a divertirem-se..
Eu sei que tivemos um verão fantástico mas, ao ver estas fotos percebi que era mais do que isso.
Eu estava lá, com eles, a aproveitar cada segundo de diversão que tiveram, e isso deixa-me extremamente feliz e satisfeita.

My weekend and a great tart

We had holiday yesterday here in Lisbon, a great long weekend.

First we thought to go somewhere out but at the end we stood here. And yes... M. and I had the week just for ourselves (thanks to grandparents). Walks, dinners out, great homemade meals, cinema, beach... I missed all of that {*smile}.

On Saturday I bought some fig on the organic market and made fig tart for our lunch on Sunday. Few simple ingredients like puff pastry, fresh figs, mint and honey was enough to make a divine dessert!!!

We had a great lunch (I will write about the main dish during this week {*smile}).

Ontem foi feriado aqui em Lisboa, um óptimo fim-de-semana longo.

Primeiro pensamos em ir para algum lugar fora, mas no final ficamos aqui. E sim... o M. e eu tivemos a semana só para nós (graças aos avós). Passeios, jantares, grandes refeições caseiras, cinema, praia... tinha saudades disso tudo {*smile}.

No sábado comprei uns figos no mercado biológico e fez tarte de figo para o almoço de domingo. Alguns ingredientes simples como massa folhada, figos frescos, hortelã e mel foi suficiente para fazer uma sobremesa divinal!

Tivemos um grande almoço (vou escrever sobre o prato principal durante esta semana {*smile}).

My weekend....

It was definitely one different weekend. A lot of food styling, photographing, learning, meeting new people and fun.
