Oat and almond cookies

The other day I was spending some ‘quality’ time on the net and saw new post from Diana from In the mood for food for Oat and almond cookies.

First I got in love with her photo and then with a recipe .

Since I love home made cookies,first chance I had I made them… and they were just great. M. and kids couldn’t take their hands out of the cookie jar :-)

Raspberry Macarons

I LOVE colours ..everywhere around me!!!
I LOVE colours and because of that I got in love with macaroons first time I saw them.
They can be made in so many colours, so many flavours ...it is pure explosion of colours.

Kids in the kitchen

The only thing you can do on the rainy days like these with a kids in the house is to let them take over your kitchen. Here is a result of my ‘takeover’ ... I succeeded to get one of these poor ginger men before he got eaten :-)

Lime pie

Being foreigner in a foreign country for me is connected with being eager to meet and know new people, make friends.
And my experience tell me that is what happened with most of foreigners.
I use to go to same park with my kids every day and use to see same mums with kids...that is how I met my foreign mums . We were attracted like magnets, this eagerness to meet and know other people just put as together.
So....besides meeting in the park with kids we also meet at least once a month for dinner out or in house of one of us.
These dinners are pure gourmet dinners...we always experiment new recipes, try to match what will each of us make...it is great!!!
‘February dinner’ was this week and I was in charge of desert , lime pie...

Chocolate cure

The other day I felt a need for pure sugar, I think you know what I mean.
When this happens I need something 100%, super pure, mega shock..SWEET, so I decided to make these chocolate mini cakes.
They are really fast to make and have instantaneous effect in emergency situations like these:-))).

Chocolate raspberry birthday cake

I had my first order for a birthday cake and I was really happy to have honour like that. It was for someone’s father and I really started to feel like I am making it for my father, that is a far away from me, I put all care and love in it ......

So...HAPPY BIRTHDAY to Sandra’s father!!!!

Vegeta

There is one think I always have to bring with me when I am coming from Bosnia, it is Vegeta. It is made from mix of dries vegetables smashed with spices.I found something like it in Biocoop but...I prefer original one. I just can’t cook without it....

After Mercadinho....

I already spoke about going to Mercadinho today…well, we are back and I can just say it was great experience. Kids took seriously a salesman part and they were enjoying it so much. I also liked selling my chocolate and blueberry muffins, offering my grissini harts…. For sure we are going to repeat this experience.

Personally I don’t believe in Valentines, I think that when you love you love 24/7...to give presents, to go for dinner out to spend time together is whenever it is possible...
But anyway...I made today this grissini harts to give to people around me I care about ..my kids, my friends, my neighbours, M. ,strangers on the street …
