I don’t know if it is because we have a lot of nuts back home but mostly all desert have them as ingredients. Probably because of that I am fan of everything that has nuts and I like to add them in cakes that were not supposed to have it.
Recipe for ‘London cake’ (don’t ask me why it is called like that) I found in one of my mother’s recipe book and I already made it few times. Nuts and berry jam...

Não sei se é por termos muitas nozes na minha terra mas a maioria das sobremesas têm-nas como ingredientes. Provavelmente porque sou fã de tudo o que tem nozes e gosto de as adicionar em bolos que não seria suposto terem.
A receita para ‘Bolo de Londres’ (não me perguntem porque se chama assim) encontrei-a num dos livros de receitas da minha mãe e já a fiz algumas vezes. Nozes e doce de frutos silvestres…
