Cupcake Decoration with Kids

Every time I do something with kids I am always impressed with their imagination. I really enjoyed today seeing them decorating theire cupcakes.
I want speak much...here are some photos and I hope you can see by them what I mean when I say that I loved today’s workshop.

P.S. Here is recipe I used for chocolate base and vanilla frosting. All decoration was done with fruits...try to do it with kids home and I am sure you will enjoy

Chocolate cupcake (makes 12):
100g flour
20g cocoa powder
140g sugar
1,5 teaspoon baking powder
A pinch of salt
40g unsalted butter
120ml milk
1 egg

Preheat the oven to 170 degrees.
Mix together flour, cocoa powder, sugar, baking powder, salt and butter on a slow speed until you get sandy consistency.
Whisk the milk and egg and then put half into the flour mixture, beat to combine.
Add the rest of milk mixture and mix for a couple of minutes more.

Spoon the mixture into the form until two-thirds and bake for 20-25 minutes.

Vanilla frosting

140g cream cheese
80g butter
100g powdered sugar
30g yogurt
Vanilla extract

Cream together the butter and sugar, add cream cheese and mix.
When everything is combined add vanilla and yogurt and mix a bit more.
