Lemon Teacakes

Imagina-se a tomar um chá das cinco com as suas amigas, a comer estes teacakes de limão?
Eu definitivamente consigo.
Na realidade acho que eles têm uma aparência feminina e um sabor subtil de limão.

Chocolate & Ricotta Teacakes

Red Currant and Blueberry Tea Cakes

I am not shopping person, for me it is a big torture to go to shopping centres when I need to buy something…I prefer open spaces and outside shopping. The other day I was wondering around in Chiado and noticed some really cute small teacake forms in Gato Preto.
Here is result...I think they are really cute :-)

Não sou uma pessoa de compras, para mim é uma enorme tortura ir a centros comerciais quando preciso de comprar alguma coisa… prefiro espaços abertos e exteriores. No outro dia andava a passear pelo Chiado e reparei numas formas pequenas e giras para teacakes no Gato Preto.
Aqui está o resultado… acho que são muito engraçadas :-)

Apricot and Mint Tea Cakes

Só agora, sendo mãe, posso ver as vantagens que tive quando era criança. A minha mãe era professora e estava em casa durante todas as férias escolares. Adorava ter essa oportunidade agora, de passar o Verão com os meus filhos e ir à praia, parques, divertir-me bastante… mas infelizmente não posso. Portanto… decidi que pelo menos posso tentar ‘participar’, estar presente, fazer-lhes snacks saudáveis e bonitos que eles possam levar de manhã. Estes bolos de damasco e menta que eu preparei para o snack de hoje da Hana são um exemplo.

Only now, being mother, I can see what kind of advantages I had as a kid. My mother was professor and all school vacations she would be home. I would love to have this opportunity now, spend summer with my kids going on the beach, parks, having a lot of fun ...but unfortunately I can’t. So...I decided that at least I can try to ‘participate’, be present, making them nice, healthy snacks which they can bring with them in the morning. This apricot and mint tea cakes are one example I prepared for Hana’s today snack.

Lemon and Almond Tea Cakes

One of my favorite food blogs is Cannelle et Vanille, great recipes and great photos.
So…a week ago when I saw hers Lemon,Pistachio and Millet Cakes ,I just waited my chance to make them.
Here it is, my almonds version of it :-)

Um dos meus blogs preferidos sobre comida é o ‘Cannelle et Vanille’, que tem grandes receitas e excelentes fotografias.
Portanto… há uma semana, quando vi os Lemon,Pistachio and Millet Cakes da autora, estava apenas à espera de uma oportunidade para os fazer.
Aqui está, a minha versão de amêndoas :-)

Raspberry Tea Cakes

You know these days when nothing goes good...I had one of them.
Last night I decided to make some Raspberry Tea Cakes for collecting money for centre MIMAR.
First I drop full bowl of raspberry glaze, it was all over the kitchen.
Then when I succeeded to finish them I just needed some of icing sugar, opened my kitchen storage and realised I don’t have any of it....and it was 7:30 in the morning...finally my neighbour saved a cause and I finished them.
Went to the car..no car keys...but...at the end cakes came to their destination and I hope we will collect a lot of money and give our contribution for this centre.
